Wincenty Flak (1870-1943) – the unobvious artist

An exhibition dedicated to life and work of the sculptor from Zielonka Nowa.

Main purpose of the exhibition is to aquaint visitors with career of Wincenty Flak and the most important parts of his amateur artistic work.

In this case, we present pieces of art, which are examples of three main streams of his creativeness: patriotic, sacral and ornamental. Moreover, you may see on the exhibition elements prepared to finish exact sculptures, however they hadn’t been used. Furthermore, there are copies of photographs and other family souvenirs. These objects mostly belongs to private collectioner – granddaughter of sculptor, Barbara Jakubiec.

Works of Wincenty Flak decorated many variuos interiors – from country cottages, through institutions and offices, to imperial chambers. Now, they might cheer the eyes of Museum’s visitors.
