Museum Accessibility

The Regional Museum in Zwolen wants to be avaliable to everyone, who would like to discover richness of history and tradition of Zwoleń region.

That is why our seat, as far as possible, is adjusting to demands of people with disabilities. At the present time, spatial organization of permanent and temporary exhibitions allow visiting them by guests with physical disabilities, also all of the exhibition halls are placed on the ground floor.
We’re planning to adapt Museum’s interiors for people with vision and hearing impairment.

Main entrance to the Museum intended for the visitors is located from the side of Kard. Wyszyński Street.

Our building is situated next to the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, on its’ southern side. Beside the church there is a spacious parking lot, which may be used by visitors, also in groups. It’s well-adapted to people with disabilities.

For drivers we suggest few ways:
1) if you travel from Radom: turn left from road S12 to 79, next turn right into Ks. Pacek Street, again turn right into Kard. Wyszyński Street; go along this street for ca. 100 m, next turn left in first entry to the parking lot;
2) if you travel from Warsaw: turn left from road 79 to Ks. Pacek Street, next turn right into Kard. Wyszyński Street; go along this street for ca. 100 m and turn left in first entry to the parking lot;
3) if you travel from Lublin: turn right from road S12 to Kard. Wyszyński Street (when you passed “Biedronka”); go along this street for ca. 500 m and turn right in second entry to the parking lot;
4) from bus station (Moniuszki Street) – on foot, 10-15 minutes along Kościuszki – Jagiełły – Kościelna Streets.
