Plan of abodes and gardens of Zwolen settlement

Photocopy of plan made in 1876 by geometrician Bronislaw Grochowiecki.

The development of this plan was related to the affranchisement of peasants in the Zwoleń region. Its creation turned out to be necessary after discovering errors in the granting tables already approved by the municipality council of Zwoleń. After three years of measurements and work, Grochowiecki handed the maps over to the office. However, the Russian authorities did not approve them at first. It is difficult to determine when this changed, but it is known that officials and landowners used both tables and maps.

The photocopy had been given to the Museum in 2009.
