Sentinel’s boots
One of two types of winter footwear used by German soldiers during 2nd World War. Put into service at the turn of 1941 and 1942, as indispensable element of army’s equipment on the eastern front. Thanks to thick, wooden soles and felt and leather shanks they protected guards from feet freezing. Showed model was used only to serve at the station, because its weight prevents free movement.
